Licence terms.

The terms on which Schedule III Builder is licensed. By installing or using the software you accept them.

1. Licence

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Schedule III Builder on the number of computers stated in your licence key, for the edition (Basic, Professional or Enterprise) and the period you have paid for. A 14-day trial may be used for evaluation only.

2. Restrictions

You may not copy the software except for backup, or sell, rent, sublicense, modify, decompile, reverse engineer or get round its licence checks, except as the law expressly allows.

3. Your professional responsibility

The software prepares draft financial statements, audit reports, certificates, resolutions, minutes, registers, forms and workings from your books and your answers. It does not give legal, accounting, tax or audit advice. You, and the professional who signs any document, remain responsible for reviewing it, for its compliance with the law and with professional standards, and for any filing made from it.

4. Your data

Company files stay on your computers. The software does not send your financial data to us. The privacy notice sets out what is sent, and when.

5. Updates and support

Updates, when offered, are made available through the update check in the software. Support is provided as described in your order.

6. Warranty

The software is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and the accuracy of the output.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business. Our total liability is limited to the fee you paid for the licence in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Ending the licence

The licence ends if you breach these terms, or when it expires or is revoked for non-payment. You must then stop using the software. Your company files remain yours and can be opened by a licensed copy.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at [city] have exclusive jurisdiction.
